Teso youth asked to minimise time they spend on social media

Youth across Teso Region have been asked to minimize themselves
from spending too much time on modern social media technology
but should focus their lives to God.
Speaking during the youth conference for Soroti Catholic Diocese at
Soroti Youth center, Ogol Stephen the facilitator noted that some
youth waste a lot time on social media.
According to Ogol, the youth are energetic people who should adopt
mechanisms to keep their lives and faith to God not engaging much
on worldly desires.
He observed that some youth even watch movies and watching
televisions and chat on social media platforms even while mass or
church service.

Pius Elubu, the youth chairman St. Patrick parish Madera asked the
youth to always put their phones off while in church since they may
interfere with their connection with God.

According to Blandina Agoro and Martha Asubo some of the youth
acknowledge that their lives and characters are going to be changed.
