The speaker of the 11th, Parliament of Uganda who is also the Woman Member of Parliament for Bukedea district Rt. Hon Annet Anita Among has joined the residents of Bukedea and Teso at large in mourning the Bukedea district Chairperson Moses Olemukan Ochom who breathed his last at Mulago Cancer Institute on Saturday evening Dec 17th, 2022
Recently, Olemukan was taken to Nairobi hospital in Kenya for treatment where he showed signs on improvement and returned in December, 2022
“It is with great sadness I announce untimely death of my district Chairman and Brother Moses Olemukan. My sincere condolence to his family and the people of Bukedea, May His Soul find eternal rest”, said Anita in a tweet
Olemukans death was also confirmed to Mama Bukedea Radio by the secretary works at Bukedea District council Hon Michael Okwi on a phone call.
“It’s true chairman has passed on this evening at Mulago Cancer institute and arrangements are underway to plan for the burrial” Okwi said while sorbing.
Plans for the burrial and final send off of the district chairperson has not been released by the family or the district
