Stakeholders in soroti district have been urged to sensitize communities on the methods of malaria control in their households.
Emmanuel Ekodeu, the malaria focal person in soroti district stated this following the way most of the people are at a risk of contracting malaria at the household level.
He adds that the only way to fight against the spread of malaria is through acquiring the mosquito nets for children in the family.
He now advised the public to always go for malaria check up in the health facility for early management especially children below the age of 5 years.
Ekoteu says that as health department they have a target whereby they want make sure every person sleeps under a treated mosquito net from Monday to Monday
He appealed to LCs and their committees to them to help them sensitize the public to as to combat Malaria
