The Iteso Cultural Union (ICU) council is set to pay tribute to the late Bishop Patrick Okabe the Member of Parliament for Serere constituency who got involved a fatal road accident on 19th December 2022 at Nabowa town council along Mbale Tirinyi Road and died on the spot.
Stephen Omoding Eupa, the deputy prime minister in ICU in charge North Teso region says that as ICU council they will pay tribute to late Okabe since he has been an ambassador of ICU in both parliament and outside countries.
Joseph Ojatum, the patron Teso student’s development Association (TESDA) acknowledged that as youth in Teso, the demise of Okabe has already crated a big gap among the youth in terms of education department.
