The security team in Atoot sub county in Ngora district has set a group of 7 vigilantees in each and every village to help fight against theft ahead of Christmas day.
Jaffar Wabwire aka come 20 the LC3 Atoot sub county says in most cases thieves take advantage of festive season to steal people’s property including poultry, and herds of cattle.
Wabwire pledges not to defend anyone being caught stealing and falls in the hands of the mob.
He however urges the community to remain alert and observe the people them.
