President Museveni Honours fallen Bukedea District Chairperson with a condolence of 10 Million Shillings

His Excellency the president of the republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa has honoured the Bukedea fallen district chairperson Moses Olemukan who was laid to rest on Dec 27th, 2022 at his ancestral home in Akuoro village in Bukedea Sub county, Bukedea district with a tune of 10million shillings.

In a presidential message presented by the chief mourner, the vice president Jesca Alupo detailed that the president condoles with the family members.

“I was saddened to hear the news of the Untimely death of the late Hon Moses Olemukan, the district chairperson Bukedea district which occured on Dec 17th, 2022. On behalf of the government of the republic of Uganda, and on myown behalf, I extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family and all the people of bukedea and Teso upon the loss of a distinguished national leader. the country is mopurning the lossof a hard working and partrioticleader who dedicated his life toleading the people of Bukedea in a transformative way. to the family of the late Hon. Moses Olemukan, my thoughts are with you you grieve the loss of your dear father and family pillar, I pray that God grants you the courage and fortitude to go through this difficult moment of sorrow and loss. We are not only mourning the death of Hon Moses Olemukan but also celebrating his life and legacy. He departed from us after rendering distinguished service to Bukedea district and Uganda at large. Hon Moses Olemukan served his people in honesty, impartiality and people centeredness. This explains his steady rise to the leadership from LCIII chairman which he served for 10 years to Chairman LCV where he has been in his second term. All those who associated with the late Moses Olemukan must be proud of this memory and the sense of bereavement which his untimely death has brought should not diminish it. However, during the burrial, the medical report was read by Dr. Okwadi confirming that, the deceased succumbed to cancer
