The leadership of Kakure Sub County have today recovered a one-day stolen baby girl child from Kakure health center ii in Kalaki district.
This was disclosed by Charles Eucu, the LC3 of Kakure Sub County during a brief telephone interview with our reporter.
Its noted that Eunice Ajibo stole a baby belonging to Doreen Aguro from Kakure Health center ii maternity ward and hid her in her operating clinic at Nakasero trading center within Kalaki district.
Eucu clarified that the suspect pretended to be visiting her OG at the health facility but later stole the baby last night when her mother was in deep sleep.
According to Eucu, the culprit was taken to Kalaki Central police station where she is currently being held at.
Janet Among, the nurse caretaking at Kakure health center ii says this is the first case of its kind for the child being stolen at the health facility.
She says that the mid wives Examined the suspect but the results showed that she never had any delivery as she claimed.
