Workers under Soroti Catholic Church organizations and institutions have been implored to consider the spiritual element in their professional works and service to the communities.
Rev. Fr. Martine Ekwangu Ecodu made this concern while leading a mass for the staff of Soroti Catholic Diocese Integrated Development Organization (SOCADIDO) at SOCADIDO offices today.
According to Fr. Ekwangu, they should do everything in the context of the church setting with a goal to help all human beings to attain salvation and that the spiritual aspect should not be lost.
Fr. Ekwangu challenged the Christians to pardon each other on sinful acts and behaviors like gossip, misunderstandings and character assassination among others as they begin a new working year.
Meanwhile, the director of SOCADIDO, Rev. Fr. Michael Omaria thanked Rev. Fr. Ekwangu for sharing and leading the mass noting that its always their discipline to start every new working year and end it with mass.
