Soroti district has finally received a substantive new Deputy chief administrative officer.
This was confirmed by Abraham Ekwaru, the communications officer Soroti district local government.

He says that madam Jane Akiror who has been the assistant chief administrative officer has received an appointment as the Deputy chief administrative officer waiting to be posted to a district yet to be known.
According to Ekwaru, the new chief administrative officer who has already commenced work is an experienced man and hopes that his vast working experience will help to better and achieve the development plan of the district.
