The sub county speakers of lower government in soroti district have been tasked to embrace the development of their association.
Martin Geoffrey Oligo, the chairperson for the speakers in soroti district and doubles as the speaker for Asuret Sub County in soroti district says that the formation of the association aimed at addressing challenges in terms of leadership in the lower government.
Oligo adds that the absence of the speakers association in the district has misguided leaders to assume unnecessary powers unlawfully.
He now appealed to the district leadership to support the association in order to improve on service delivery in the district.
