The chairperson Soroti private schools teachers association calls teachers in private schools to ensure that they sign contracts before their official work.
Paul Etiang reveals this following a situation where some teachers are currently struggling while out for long holidays and no pay is made to them.
According to him, as employees, teachers must be aware of the details of their contract, be able to abide by the clauses mentioned in it,
Etiang articulates that when schools close, parents stop paying salaries until learners come back from holidays.
He however advices private school teachers to venture into side businesses so as to create income for their families.
