A section of local council one chairpersons in Katine Sub County in Soroti district have blamed youth who have resorted to burning houses as a way to express their dissatisfaction to the community
This concern has come following the scenario where a team of youth went and burnt two trading centers of Ariamet and Apaasi in Katine Sub County on allegation that most of the small scale traders sell their goods at high prices
Some of the LC1s who spoke to this radio say there is need for government to regulate on mount night operations across the sub county
Meanwhile Charles Otoo, the mayor of Apaasi trading center in Owlelai village in Katine Sub County the action by the youth has now affected the business in the trading center thus affecting tax collection
However, Robert Opio, the youth councilor in Katine Sub County blamed youth who have deliberately refused to engage in productive activities
