LCs in Serere tasked to crack a whip on children sitting on trading centers

Vice chairperson LC5 Serere district Christine Abeja has tasked LC1 and LC2 chairperson to ensure that they crack a whip on underage children who have resorted to sitting in trading centres and moving at night to attend parties for which they have not been invited.

She says the act of children of school going age moving at night is unfortunate and should not be tolerated in the communities.

Abeja is hopeful that if communities cooperate with local leaders the future of the young people would be secured.

Meanwhile Emmanuel Akeba the LC3 chairman Serere town council says all state actors should come in to secure the future of the young generation.
