The parents in Pallisa district have been implored to embrace technical education for the betterment of their children.
Speaking during the official launch of Kaboloi Aica initiative skills in Pallisa sub county, Moses Okipi the Principal of the school said that most parents in the district undermine technical education and yet it provides short term skills for survival.
Clement Odochor, the director of the school mentioned that there are currently rampant cases of theft in the area because the youth are wasted in the villages doing gambling activities instead of joining to do skilled courses.
However, this radio caught up with some of the students who revealed that they have learnt so many skills which they say are going to help them in improving their livelihoods.
