The youth chairperson Dokolo perish Asamuk Sub County Amuria district asks youth to embrace technical skills to acquire skills that will help them start income generating ventures.
Daniel Opolot Opus who also attended a course in mechanics says technical skills can enable one to create a job and contribute to fighting crime among some youth.
According to him, some skilling programs are business oriented as others are practical such as carpentry, plumbing and tailoring among others.
Opolot says in mechanics one doesn’t have to learn everything in one big course but choose to specialize in areas such as wiring, just changing car batteries or tyres.
