The district chairperson Kapelebyong has expressed his dissatisfaction with some parents who refused to register their children in order to acquire NIN numbers.
Francis Akorikin says that as a district they have so far registered few learners compared to the ones who have not yet registered something he says will affected the capitation funds in most of the schools.
He notes with concern that it’s the government program which is aimed at capturing all the details of learners while at school.
He now tasked parents in Teso to embrace the program and register their learners in a bid to avoid being contrary to government programs.
