Police in Soroti district are hunting for a witch doctor who allegedly caused the death of two people in Arapai sub-county last night.
The deceased have been identified as Michael Etoru 30, and Levi Okello 26, all residents of Agaya village.
Reports show that Joseph Emoru the father of the deceased duo brought a witch doctor to expose suspected thieves who allegedly stole his bull two weeks ago.
But after the ritual was done the suspected witch doctor disappeared into thin air.
This morning while talking at the scene Simon Peter Edoru Ekuu the LCV soroti district warned people against using witch doctors because it’s a primitive way of solving problems.

Moses Olang, the Soroti district police officer, says they are looking for the witch doctor on murder charges.
Meanwhile the bodies were taken by police for autopsy.
