Communities in Katine Sub County in Soroti district have been tasked to value health in their families.
Esther Akol, the health inspector in Tiriri health center IV IN Katine Sub County says that the survey from the health department shows that a majority of household no longer value the health at home something she says has exposed them into diseases like diarrhea, typhoid among others.
Akol adds that it’s the role of the family members to ensure that they establish health facilities like washing hand facilities, pit latrines, clean cups in order to avoid spread of diseases.
She now challenged the public to always seek for medical advise from medical workers to enable proper management.
