Headteachers in Soroti express dismay over low school turn up

Head teachers across Soroti district have expressed dismay over low turn up of learners in different schools.

They say some parents have considered sitting back with their children instead of sending them to school, a thing which may affect their academic performance.

Most of the schools visited by Soroti district authorities had very low turn up, but head teachers say they have started teaching the children that have reported back to school.

Meanwhile Simon Peter Edoru Ekuu the LC5 chairman soroti district says LC1 chairpersons should now start operations to round up parents whose children are still seated at home.
