Residents of Okoito village, Opwateta parish, Opwateta Sub County in Pallisa district have been warned against loitering animals.
This warning was sounded by John Obuya the Okoito area LC1 chairperson following overwhelming cases of loitering animals in his office.
Obuya says that he receives between 4-5 cases weekly from the community members who complain that the loitering animals have destroyed their crops especially the cassava stems.
However, Johnson Ajala the Opwateta area councilor reveals that the operations to impound the loitering animals will commence soon and the owners of the livestock will pay 20.000 shillings for each of the impounded animals.
