The married couples in Teso sub region have been advised to involve the cultural leaders in settling their family conflicts
This was raised by Constantine Okwi, the ICU foreign minister stating that most of the cultural offices in Teso have lost value because the married couples tend to rush their cases to police and other institutions
Okwi notes with the concern that the cultural leaders should be respected and be given the mandate to perform their duties
Okwi has further emphasized the parents across the Teso sub region to sensitize their children about disadvantages of homosexuality
