Vendors dealing in fresh meat at Soroti main modern market are counting losses due to the breakdown of the cold-rooms used for storing meat at the market

Richard Osuwa, one of the vendors selling meat at the market butcher says the cold-rooms have taken about one year now nonfunctioning

According to Osuwa, some of them now depend on only the fridges for storing the meat yet even the electricity is unreliable in that sometimes takes two to three days off

Engineer Simon Ocen, who supervised the construction of the market says a small gadget from the cold-rooms costing about 350,000 got blown off because of the fluctuating power at the market

Meanwhile, George William Eriebat, the chairman Soroti modern main market confirms the breakdown of the cold-rooms and laid fear that Techno three, the company which constructed the market has assured that they will come and restore the challenge of the cold rooms
