Government has been asked to budget for funds for operations under PDM in a bid to implement the program effectively in the district
Rajab Ogogol, the production officer in Kumi district says that as a district, they have not received funds for PDM operations for the extension workers something he says was a challenge
He however, notes that the district only budgeted some funds for the PDM committees but not for the extension workers thus calling for government intervention
He now calls for the leadership to work together with various stakeholders to in order to sustain the program hence improving on the livelihoods at household level
