The director of Mama Mercy Infant School Soroti city, Anne Mercy Apio, has tasked parents across Teso region to improve on their parental responsibilities
This follows scenarios where majority of the parents spend much of their time in trading centres consuming alcohol until late, forgetting they have pending family responsibilities
According to Apio, this has cheered some parents to abscond from parental guidance and providing scholastic materials in time
Some of the students who spoke to Mama Bukedea radio expressed their mixed reactions saying some parents are good at dodging whenever it comes to scholastic materials
