Clan leaders in Kumi district have been tasked to establish disciplinary committees in their clans in order to manage conflicts
Ahamada Washaki, the resident district commissioner Kumi says that it’s the role of the clan leaders to promote unity in the clan
Ahamada is also the head of the security of security in the district stated this following the recent reconciliation meeting his office held with one of the clans in Kumi district due disunity among the clan members.
He therefore encouraged to always seek for advice from the leaders in a bid to avoid loss of lives in the clan
