Authorities at Ogolai Sub County in Amuria district have implored women there to engage in income generating projects to improve standards of living at household level
Betty Arigo, the district woman councilor representing Ogolai Sub County noted that most women at her area only wait for ready food from their spouses without enhancing their income.
According to Arigo, some women have abandoned their homes because men have failed to take up their responsibilities like providing for food, health and clothes among others yet their wives have not played a role of supplementing home earnings.
Arigo has however encouraged men there to take a sole responsibilities towards family needs
